You can sponsor a child by visiting our sponsorship page and select a child. You can also email us at support@iamfamily.org. We will send you a child to sponsor. As a child sponsor, you can help save a child from a life of poverty.

The benefits you help provide extend to each child’s family, their community, and other children in need. That’s because I AM Family plans and works alongside local community members to find solutions that will change the future for their children.

Wonderful things happen when you make the choice to sponsor a child. For only $35 per month – about $1 a day – you’ll show your elementary or high school aged child God’s unconditional love by providing them with access to critical resources such as: Education, food, clothes and medication.

I AM Family Ministries is also committed to assisting our high school graduates whose goals include University level education. A three to five year sponsorship commitment will enable these young men and women to achieve their dream of becoming a doctor, lawyer, architect, teacher – the sky is truly the limit! We want you to be able to connect, building a strong and lasting relationship with your sponsored child. One great way you can do this is by sending letters with your family news and encouragement to your sponsored child! Sending your sponsored child a letter is easy – you can email them at: letters@iamfamily.org. This is a simple and greatly appreciated way for you to show your child that you care about them and are praying for them.

We believe the most effective way to help children is by combining your sponsorship with those of other sponsors and donors. Some of the children on our sponsorship list have multiple sponsors. We are doing this for several very critical reasons. First, many of these children stay at the orphanage and one sponsor is not enough to feed, clothe, take care of medically, pay the light bills, purchase everything needed to run the home and to pay some money to the people who do all the work there.

Secondly we combine sponsorship money so we can legally provide tax receipts to US donors. It is not legal in the US to designate money to a specific individual and still provide a tax receipt to the donor. However, by sponsoring a child you can still make a special connection with that child even though your donation contributes to the well being of the entire orphanage. You will receive letters from the child and we will provide updates on the child’s education. We want you to form a long term relationship with the child you sponsor!
