Salima has a big passion for raring chickens. When she shared her passion with her sponsor, she got a gift from her sponsor to start up a chicken coop. This is a great gift for Salima and her family. She will be taking care of the chicks and her hope is that when the chicks grow, they will start laying eggs providing a vital source of protein for her family. And any extra eggs can be sold, providing an extra income.
