Jonathan was abandoned by his father and now lives with his mother, who is a struggling peasant farmer trying to meet their basic needs. Despite their hardships, Jonathan is a hardworking boy who loves going to school and enjoys playing soccer with his friends. He hopes to become a teacher someday.
